Will working in EU affect my ILR application???

Will working in EU affect my ILR application???

Hi

I am on Tier1 general visa and have another 20 months to apply for ILR. my company is transfering me to Sweden for a 18 months
I will get paid in UK and pay tax in UK since its a british company, however will this affect my ILR in future because I will physically
not be in UK, please can someone advise me.

You will break your residence and you will not be eligible for ILR. The fact that it's a UK company, paying you inside the UK, and is taxable, is not relevant to this. You may, however, use the salary to score points to make further extensions in the T1 (G) category.

Thank you very much for your quick response, does this mean that my clock starts at zero or should i have to cover only the time have
been outside UK (about 18 months) before i apply for ILR.

Unfortunately your ILR clock will start from zero, on the date you return to the UK from Sweden.
