Tier 2 ICT, Employer Letter without COP, but COS.

Post by needTier1 » Sun Jul 08, 2012 5:18 pm

Hi,

I am looking to apply for ILR in 2nd week of august. I came here on Work Permit in 2007 and then got Tier 2 ICT on extension in 2009.

Currently I am on Tier 2 ICT established staff after 3rd Extension in 2011.

As I am applying through Tier 2 ICT , I also need an employer reference letter. However, my employer is only giving me a standard reference letter as below and hence I need advice if this would be suitable for the purpose.Kindly advise me if I can provide any other supporting documents along with this letter. For e.g. I also have my sponsorship letter with details of my SOC code.

Letter Start:
--------------

To Whom It May concern:

Re: <My Name> <My employee Id>

This is to confirm that the above named person is currently in employment at <My Company name>.

We confirm the following:
Start date at <My company name> : Sept 10 2007
Current Designation: <My designation>
Annual Salary: <My Salary>

Trusting the above to be satisfactory, however if you do have any queries please do not hesitate to call me at <HR's contact details>

Letter End:
--------------

Thanks,
Ali

Hi

To be honest with you this letter wont be accepted by the UKBA for your ILR application if your applying on the basis of Tier 2 ICT. Check out the format of the employer letter from the sticky in the forum. Other wise I am sorry I am affraid to say that this letter wont be accepted.

Please do kindly share your PEO experience with us on the forum.

Good luck for your ILR.
