Visitor visa for Mother

My mother is applying for the visitor visa (six months) to visit me and my family and I am her sponsor in the UK.

My Tier 1 visa is due for extension in Nov 2012, which is less than six months from now. Can she apply for a six month visitor visa now ignoring that my current tier-1 is valid only for next 5 months?

Or I need to first get extension of my tier-1( two years) and then only she can applies her visitor visa.

Yeah shouldn't be a problem. My mom applied back in Jan of this year and my visa (tier 2)was expiring in July 2012. She got the visa.
