Help with payslip dates for tier1 general.

Help with payslip dates for tier1 general.

Hi Everyone. I have a part time job which i would like to include for my tier1 extension. I am bit confused with payslip dates. In my job i am getting paid for every 4 weeks..

I would like to claim for the period of 1st Dec 2011 - 30th Nov 2012. Can i include 02DEC 2011 payslip as well if i include that it will be all together 14 pay slips. can i claim 14 payslips earnings?


My paydates are as follows

02 DEC 2011
30 DEC 2011
27 JAN 2012
24 FEB 2012
23 MAR 2012
20 APR 2012
18 MAY 2012
15 JUN 2012
13 JUL 2012
10 AUG 2012
07 SEP 2012
05 OCT 2012
02 NOV 2012

The earnings need to be from a 12 month period. So you cannot use the 2nd Dec 2011 payslip since most of it it would be for 4 weeks falling outside the period you are claiming for.

At the most, you can claim pro-rata for the first 2 days of dec 2011(assuming the pay is till 2nd Dec) and explain it in a covering letter if you need those 2 days earnings to claim enough points.

The number of payslips does not matter as long as they cover the earnings period.
