mantinance requirement of Teir 2 Application

Post by rumise » Tue Jul 10, 2012 9:14 am

guys,

I really an urgent help on this issue.

My PSW is running out on 19th sept and I am planning to make an tier 2 application week before the end date.

By mistake I totally forgot about fund maintenance requirement, which need to be maintained for 90 days and now its not enough time for me to cover 90 days period.

My employer applied for registration a month ago and yet have not heard anything from UKBA. one of the solution I read is if my employer get A rating and he can take care of maintenance. my employer is agree to do that but I am not sure if my employer will get A rating or not. although they have paid £1500 fee for registration and have more then 500 staffs working in it.

is there any other way I can cover this fund maintenance requirement??

Not a problem. Before you apply for leave to remain your employer must assign a CoS to you and maintenance can be certified in the CoS.

If they don't get an A rating they cannot assign CoSs.

The only problem that may arise is that they don't get the sponsor licence in time. Licence applications currently take 3-4 months to process. In that case they should send a request for urgent treatment to UKBA explaining the reason one month before the expiry date of your current visa:

sponsorlicensing.support@ukba.gsi.gov.uk
scoc@ukba.gsi.gov.uk

(ask them to send it to both addresses)

manci!

thanks for the quick response.

one of my friend told me another way to solve this issue but I am not sure about it. he says if I join someone else account (saving account or any other which have enough money for more than 90 days) and make that account as joint account and then send statement of that account.

would it work?

You shouldn't contemplate using deception.

Why are you looking for other ways to deal with the maintenance issue when your employer said that they would certify maintenenace?
