Employment gaps in HSMP and Tier 1

Post by jay.ganesh » Tue Jul 10, 2012 10:31 pm

I am going for my ILR in Nov 2012. I am afraid that there are 2 significant gaps in my employment during my 5 year period which could affect my ILR.

I got my HSMP in 2008. After getting my HSMP , I was unemployed for a month in 2008 then I got a job. In 2009 again I was unemployed for 6 months(june 2009 - nov 2009) but I registered as self employed from july 2009 - oct 2009 during which my earning was £2000 and filed tax return. So I was neither employed nor self-employed for 2 months i.e june 2009 and nov 2009. But I got my tier 1 for 3 years as I qualified. Then I am continuously employed for 3 years now.

Is my employment gaps going to affect my ILR?

thanks
