ILR and bank statements (old rules)

Post by MWill » Wed Jul 11, 2012 3:27 pm

Just a question about finances for ILR - I'm the sponsor, my wife is the applicant. My wife doesn't work and her only bank account is a US one with her savings in it, which she sometimes uses for things here via her credit card. I earn more than enough to cover our maintenance, so I'll be including my bank statements, payslips etc. to show this, as well as my savings account.

We're not sure how easy it's going to be to get hold of my wife's bank statements, because of timings, the time it takes to post things, etc (they'll be posted to her parents in the US). Is it a problem if we only send my statements/payslips, given that I meet the maintenance requirement on my own?

No problems there.
