Tier 2 ICT Long Term to Tier 2 General from home country

Hi,

I entered UK in Feb 2012 with company A's Tier 2 ICT Long Term Staff Migrant visa (valid till July 2013) working for company B as a contractor. Now company B wants to hire on their payroll.

Company B is asking me to join them in home country and return to UK on Tier 2 General visa. Please suggest me if I can accept this offer.

1. Does cooling off period affect me.
2. If not, how soon I can start processing my visa.

unfortunately the cooling off period will apply and you will need a CoS before you can apply for leave to enter.

What are other options by which Comapany B get visa for me and get me back in.

You could work for Company B if you had a dependant visa,

Company B is assuring me that they'll send me in 3 months again. Wanted to know how they could do this. Wanted to know if they apply for my work permit. Not sure if its still available.
