Future intention requirement, employment abroad

I willl be applying for BC for myself and family in Oct12. There is possibility of starting 2 year overseas transfer/ secondment around that time. Will it impact the application, as I may be overseas for few months, by the time application is considered.

I have family home in uk which will be rented while I am away.

Depends on what you state in Q2.3 in the form.

In practice, once applied, you are allowed to travel abroad and it is unlikely to affect the outcome of the application.
