Cooling off for ICT tier 2 short term UK visa

Cooling off for ICT tier 2 short term UK visa

Hi, i was working in UK on tier 2 visa from May2010-may2012. Can i apply for short term tier 2 ICT? I understand there's 1 year cooling off period for long term tier 2 ICT visa. But is it applicable for short term as well? Is there any other type of Visa which i can apply without serving cooling off period.

Also, if i switch my company is it compulsory to serve 1 yr in that company before applying fresh UK visa?

You would need to apply in the T2 ICT Long Term Staff category to be exempt from the cooling-off period. See Immigration Rule 245GB

Employment by the sponsoring organisation for 12 months immediately preceding the application, and indeed for the assignment of the CoS, is essential. See paragraph 29 in the policy guidance:

Thanks Manci. But i can not apply for long term as my salary is < 40K GBP :(
