Home country's bank statement expectable for visa extension?

I am extending my tier4 visa from inside UK. I want to show my Home country's bank statement. The account is on my name. My father will take the bank statement from my country and send the statement to my UK address by courier/postal mail. Is it acceptable?

hi thanks for the reply. my statement will be in English. but the currency is different. i heard that i need to convert the currency from a particular website and print that out. do you know anything about it?
