Post by lezzfrancis » Fri Jul 13, 2012 3:20 pm

Hi,

I would like to know if anyone knows if there are good agents in Mumbai (India) who can help prepare tier-1 dependent application form.

Please let me know any trustworthy guys please.

Thanks,

Why do you require agents? Its straightfoward. Please read guidance notes for Tier 1 dependent application. This link should be a good starting point.

Its pretty easy to do it yourself. No need for an agent. The ones in India will rip you off.

Just go through below links.

Policy guidance on dependants of points-based system migrants

Application form

Any question just ask us on the board and we will help you out. This will save you a lot of money. Just a suggestion.

Hi,

The application is a bit complicated and that's why I needed guidance.

I will list down the whole story and I will appreciated if you could guide me.

My wife had applied for a visitor visa in mid of MAY. This was applied thinking that she could travel with me soon after the wedding. She had mentioned that she is going to visit her FRIENDS and will be in UK for 1.5 months. This was rejected then citing a consent letter from the employer was not there.

We got married on the 15th of June and we applied for the dependent visa after the wedding. We had submitted 6 months of bank statements , however they came back saying there was only 2 months. This is ok, however they put an addendum saying that they have also noticed that we had applied for a visitor visa in May and if it was given, my wife would have been in the UK till end of June. But we got married on the 15th and this raises questions as to why the visitor visa was applied in the first place. Basically this has raised questions on her intent.

We are planning to write a letter to the high commission in response to their questions as to why we applied for the visitor visa. I would like to know if a letter would be enough or should we go for an affidavit. Or is there any other way of approaching this. We had explained the reasons of applying for the visitor visa in the cover letter of the previous application but I don't think they checked that. Is there a better way of answering their questions?

Any help will be appreciated

Why is this OK. You should have challenged this decision. If you have submitted 6 months statement, they cannot say they only recieve 2 months. And whatever your wife's previous immigration history, it should not be a problem so long you have mentioned it in the dependant form that she applied in May and was refused entry clearance for whatever reason.

Her intent has nothing to do with your marriage. You will need to prove that your relationship is subsisting and so you should have provided the evidences.

Did you appealed this decision or not? Also, did you provided susbsiting relation's evidences, like chats printouts, phone bills, emails printouts, etc.

No. The bank statements I gave were copy statements for the first four months and it only had the stamp and signature from the bank and didn't have the letter headed paper as prescribed. We missed to submit the letter. So I think an appeal wouldnt hold water. We are planning to apply it again with proper statements but wanted to know how to respond to their query on the visitor visa.

Hopefully they wont reject again on the basis of the visitor visa refusal. We are writing up reasons as to why we applied for the visitor visa before the wedding but wanted to be make sure how to approach this.
