Tier 1 (general) ILR what should I do

I have lived in this country for 5 years in HSMP and Tier 1 and eligible for ILR. I got married to my wife in Feb 2007 and she was with me until June 2009 when she moved to India and had our daughters and came back March 2011

Should I be applying for ILR for me, my wife and my two daughters or

should I apply for ILR only for me and my two daughters and apply for extension of stay using FLR (M) for my wife.

Please help
