Question

Post by alikhan1 » Sat Jul 14, 2012 7:50 am

Hi Everyone
I dont know where else to ask this question. I came to UK and got British Citizenship through HSMP.
I was married to a british asian woman, had 2 kids and then she left me.Now I am going through court to get access to children but she is making it difficult.
I accepted a police caution for Domestic violence 4 yrs ago.
I got my British passport over 1 year ago.
Now ex wife has said to the court that I am being investigated by home office for fraudulently obtaining passport.I have not heard anything from the home office.
What Can I do?

If you haven't obtained British passport (or Citizenship or previous immigration status) fraudently, then you have nothing to fear.

I have not done anything wrong, but ex-wife either wants my livelihood destroyed, or send me to jail or out of UK as she doesnt want me to be part of children's lives and that needs to be stopped.
I am already fighting it in court.
Is making a false allegation to home office a criminal offence?can I go to the police?

I think you are just winding yourself up. The bottom line is if you have done nothing wrong then you have nothing to fear.

Let her say whatever she is saying and whatever she is alleging. If anyone thinks that here is substance in her allegations then that is upto that department to investigate and bring the proof against you if they want to.

Why do you want to fight something which no government agency has alleged or charged against you.

I can allege that you owe me £20,000 and that you stole my car. Now its upto me to prove that you actually owe me £20,000, and its upto police to prove that you actually did steal my car.
