Tier 1 G Dependent Maintenance funds query

Post by mrashid10249 » Sun Jul 15, 2012 10:55 am

Hi All

i am on Tier 1 G visa. i have to apply a visa for my UK born infant in August at PEO. I ve to show maintenance funds (900 Pounds) for consequtive 3 months. i have noticed that, unfortunately on one day, the amount dropped below the required amount. but on the same day went above as required in my bank satatement due my salary transferred on the same day. my question is would it effect the condition that the amount should stay for 3 months and should never go below the requirement.

if this fluctuation does not fulfill the requirement, may i attach my other personal bank statement along with it to compensate the total amount please?

is there any restriction that amount should present only in one account?

many thanks

You can show more than one bank account in your name for maintenance funds, the sums of which should be £900 for 90 consecutive day period.

They check the closing balance of each day. So if your balance has gone down but was restored on the same day then you are in clear. So dont worry you should be fine.

My suggestion would be to use the personal account as well. you never know what UKBA consider as balance.

Isn't the maintenance fund requirement £600 for the dependant?
