Sponsorship cancelled but UKBA has endorsed the VISA

Post by abhi099 » Mon Jul 16, 2012 7:26 am

Hello ,

I am working for renowned MNC and was suppose to travel to UK through Tier 2 ICT Visa through my current employer but at the last minute they apparently informed me that they would not be able to continue due to my transfer got into freeze mode but my visa got stamped by UKBA and my employer has withdrawn the sponsorship .

Have a few query pertaining to that

1) Do i only need CoS from another employer to travel to UK under this visa ?
2) While applying for job should i mention that am eligible to live and work in UK?
3)Just to confirm In the Tier 2 ICT Visa will i be eligible to try for any other MNC company?

My visa is valid for 5 years and have not travelled in this visa .

Any help would be greatly appreciated !!

Thanks
Sai

Tier 2 ICT Rules:

1. You "earn" Tier 2 ICT only after 12 months of continuous service with an employer
2. Tier 2 ICT cannot be switched to another employer (remember its an Intra Company Transfer), it needs a new CoS.
3. You can switch employers and get an ICT but that is only after spending one full year with them.
4. It is not legal for you to look for another job using the current Tier 2 ICT and definitely not correct to mention that you are eligible to live and work in the UK.

Also, most employers make you surrender the ICT when you quit. Hope this helps.
