Established presence for new visa?

i have completed my 3 years undergraduate course. My visa will expire on 30th october 2012. I got CAS for my postgraduate course in another university. If I want to apply for new tier 4 visa from my own country will they count the maintenance as established presence? or I have to show 9 months living cost?
