regarding New SET(M) form

Post by daydreamer » Mon Jul 16, 2012 10:46 pm

Hi, I am going to apply my ILR next month, just check the new SET (M) form. there is one question confused me.

2.9 Could you and your partner live together outside the UK, if necessarily?
YES or (if NO please provide details)

is anyone explain me why they are asking this question and it will effect on decision if I say YES.

thanx

Read the form carefully as you have to answer this question ONLY if you have answered NO to question 2.4 which asks you if you are living with your partner or not so if you are living with your partner then answer YES and complete questions 2.5 and 2.6 plus your two years address history and then proceed to question 2.10.(even though which is wrong as 2.10 is for those people who are not living with their partners and have answered NO to 2.4 so it should have been question 2.13 after completing 2.4 to 2.6 plus the address history)

If you look at the bottom of page 7 of set(M) form it clearly says If you have answered yes to question 2.4 and have completed question 2.5 and 2.6,proceed to question 2.10.(which is still NOT right as should have been 2.13)
Which is it of the favors of your lord that ye deny.

Thank you very much for your detailed answer,
less worried now, don't have to answer these questions.
