Applied for new passport...no barcode?? :(

Hi there..I recently applied for my baby British passport. I somehow lost the barcode to track the progress..is it possible to know the progrmss without the barcode????....I posted the application through normal post. So I don't have the receipt number aswell. I'm really very worried now.

I have sent the supporting documents with the application in the envalope they gave. I'm worried what if the documents gets lost. I don't know why I did that. I should posted it through recorded delivery so I wouldnt have been to this tension now :'(....do you guts think they will get them safely?

How did you pay for the application? You could check your bank records.

I recently applied by post (1st class, not recorded) and it took IPS 7 days to cash the cheque and another week until we got the passport.

We paid by card...There was a form for those who wants to pay by card...we filled that up with card details nd all...we are checking the bank details but they didn't take the money yet.
Did you put a 1st class stamp on it.??nd gave ur documents in there?
I didn't just sent that envelope without any stamps. I really hope my documents r safe on there. God

Yes. Just 1st class stamp but the application wasn't heavy at all (I think stamp is good upto 100 grams) as we didn't need to send any passport with the application.

Yes...they got the application...I got to know this as they did take the £49 from my account....
....now my one more query is when will they send me my documents back???....any idea???
