Help needed...

Does a self-employed sole trader needs any kind of business insurance in order to apply for tier 1g extesion?

Can do, they're pretty cheap as well. You can easily find in the range of -£180 - £200 a year for both Public indemnity insurance and Employers liability insurance

thanks a lot ankitv - but is it a required by ukba?

Anyone got their self-employed t1g extension application approved with out having this insurance? please share your experience - got appointment on coming tuesday, not sure what to do very much worried about it.

hi, i was employed and self employed too for my t1 extension last year but never had to get insurance as self employed and it was fine, all the best buddy

It is always a good practice to have insurance but it is not an prime requirement for the HO which was last time.. So you would be fine, good luck
