Post by abc111 » Thu Jul 19, 2012 6:21 pm

Hi,

My wife moved to UK in 2011. She still not has the bank account so wondering what kind of documents can I present for her to prove cohibitation when we go for ILR next year? She just has NHS corresponding on her name, please suggest. (Council tax also comes to my name)!!!

Thanks.

Each and every letter that came in her name at the same address as yours will help. All the docs they require is just to show that you guys leave togather under one roof for the specified time.

If your application is next year, I would suggest you add your wife in your bank account. Make your account joint so your statement comes in both of your name. This will sort out for the rest of the period.
