Tier2 General Query

Hi
I have two questions if you can draw some shadow on it,

1- I am currently on PSW valid up to March 12, currently on low salary from what I required but employer agreed to pay me at threshold once I am on tier 2, please advice me from which period I should start getting my required salary from day of applying or from day I received my tier 2 visa.

2- If I apply inside UK for tier 2 can my wife apply same time outside the UK or first I need to convert my Visa and then apply for her?

I'm in a similar situation, where my employer has agreed to rise my salary to switch my category to Tier 2 visa. My employer doesn't have a licence to sponsor, so I need to advice him more on this.

PS: I hope you meant ur PSW ends March 2013
