We live in UK. I am currently on ILR which I got in April 2012.
My son was born in UK on 3rd Jun 2011. After he was born, we applied for his Indian passport from UK and he left to India in September 2011.
We were on Tier 1 (General) visa before April 2012. So, we applied Tier-1 (Dependent) visa for my son from INDIA and he got it in October 2011. His Tier-1 (Dependent) visa is valid until 2013.
My husband and I applied for our ILR in UK in April 2012 and we got it successfully. As we are on ILR now, we thought we could apply for my son's British Citizenship after he comes back to UK.
We are thinking to bring my son to UK in Aug 2012 on his Tier-1 Dependent visa and now, there is a question raised in my head.
As we got our ILR now, does my son's Tier-1 Dependent visa become invalid now? Or, can he travel with his Tier-1 (Dependent) visa as it has validity until July 2013?
Could you please advice us what needs to be done next if my son's visa becomes invalid and he cannot travel to UK now?
