Fund requirement for dependant FLR (M)

Hi,

I will be applying for ILR (SET O) next month. I will also be applying for my wife's FLR M visa (since we have not been married for 2 years yet).

What is the funding rwquirement for FLR (M). I know there is no funding requirement for ILR.

Hi

There is no particular fund requirement, since you are applying after 9 th July 2012. You need to have an earnings of

No Child : Income before tax £ 18,000
1 Depandant Child : Income before tax £ 22,400
2 Depandant Child : Income before tax £ 24,800
3 Depandant Child : Income before tax £ 27,200

many thanks. The thing is that my wife's visa will be FLR M and NOT SET M. Since we are newly wed, I cant apply for her SET M yet (2 years minimum). That is why I am asking for the funding requiremnt.

Many thanks but am not sure if that is applicable for me. The rule that you have set down is for applicants who are applying after 9 July 12. In my case, my wife is already in the UK under a marriage visa (Tier 1 dependant) and that application was made pre 9 July 12. Had my wife applied for any marriage visa after 9 July this new rule would have triggered.

Does anyone know about funding requirements for FLR (M)? I will be applying for Set (O).
