PR queries

Post by muthamesthri » Mon Jul 23, 2012 1:34 pm

Hi Gurus,

I have completed 3 and half years in UK. I will be eligible for PR by Dec 2013.
But I am planning to go back to India this year and will be back in 2014(My TIER 1 VISA is valid till 2015 June).

After that I will be here for 2 years.

Then how to proceed for PR in this case. Is My 3 and half years which I already spent will be accounted for PR or do I need to start as a fresh candidate? Please advise.

Thanks,
MM.

This is a case of long absence. Once you come back in 2014, your clock will be reset from 2014 for 5 years qualifying period for ILR, and you may require to extend your Tier 1 visa in May/June 1015.
