First of all, thanks for everyone who contributed in this forum, plenty of information available, but brings confusion sometimes.
In general:
I'm British citizen, got passport recently. And I want to marry person who is non-eea.
Response by a member below, shows that I can't go via eea fp route, because I work in the UK,and not in a Europe. Confusing heh
Is this correct and therefore mean that the only way to get my fiancee over here is to marry her in the UK?Jambo wrote:Your understanding is correct.chrisc58 wrote:I understand that even though I work and live in UK (England) in order to apply for the above permit I have to work in another EEA country for atleast 6 months first as I am from the UK?
As a British Citizen, you can use the UK immigrations rules and apply for a spouse visa..
Second question:
There is no mention on UKBA website about english test for marriage visa ( 6 month, Visitors for marriage or civil partnership ), is this correct?
