Hi i am on tier 1 general and my wife is tier 1 dependent .
my 10 years will complete on the 1st of September and i heard that i can apply 28 days before .
and my wife will apply under flr m .
my questions are about new rule which is financial statement which come up recently inregard to £18600 earnings and savings of £16000 in the bank account for 6 months does this affect me aswell.
please help.
i add that i work and my salary is £25000 per annum which i can prove and my wife works aswell she earns about £16000 per annum .

10 years long stay category does not have a financial requirement. I do not think this £16000 savings requirement exists.

I am in a similar situation and in this forum I have been told that my wife can apply for ILR as soon as I get mine since she has been a dependent of mine, here in UK for 2 years already. There is a sticky note in this forum to explain the details of this. You should read this;

I just phoned home office they said for long residency i am fine but for my wife when she apply as a flr m i need to be either earning 18500 per annum or 16ooo pounds saved up for six months
