Visa for wife while application pending decision

I have applied for ILR under 10 years category and my wife have tier 1 dependent visa running out on 7th October 2012, just wondering if I didn't get my visa back by that time where she stands ? How can I apply for her visa.

My wife is in Pakistan at the moment due to my parents health staying with them from last 7 months along my 2 children who was born in the UK.

She came to uk September 2008 and stayed here until January 2012-

Please advice regarding that.

Option 1 : she has to come back to UK and apply FLR (M) even if you get or not get your visa.

Option 2 : If she can't able to come to UK she have to apply Entry Clearance or FLR (M) i'm not sure.

Circumtances are worst call her before her visa expires otherwise no one can give you guarantee when she will be able to get visa. make her case worst.

Regarding the option 2, could someone advice me if she can apply for FLR(M) from back home.
