Eligibility for naturalisation is 1 years after receiving your ILR.as2007 wrote: Also Can I aaply for Naturalisation on 05-11-2012 ?
Everything else remaining in 'qualifying' order, you CAN apply during the 28 days prior to the 5th anniversary of your intial eligible entry to the UK.Etconfuse wrote:Hi,
I have more or less the same case.
Visa entry clearance in passport: 15th feb 2008 to 15th feb 2013
First uk entry in heathrow: 28th feb 2008
Does it mean the earliest I can apply is 13th jan 2013?
Thanks.
And how exactly do you plan on returning to the country AFTER the valid date on your current visa?Etconfuse wrote:Thanks for your reply wpilr_nov12.
Can I please ask another question:
I intend to leave the country for holidays and returning on 22nd feb 2013. This will mean I enter the country after the valid date but within the 60 months from the date of leave to enter. Do you think the immigration will allow my entry. I plan to apply ilr on 27th feb 2013 upon my return. Please advice. Many thanks
