Because, that will be the answer to the question you have asked.Punjab wrote: Last time i checked it was in the UK. why?
no sir, it might not be.. as the area where embassy is standing belongs to it's country. if they would have me the place of issue i would have said birmingham but now its country so it can be india or the UK which i am not sure of . so thats why i need help from moderators or people who have knowledge.Lucapooka wrote:Because, that will be the answer to the question you have asked.Punjab wrote: Last time i checked it was in the UK. why?
Like I mentioned above that it could be the UK or India as it was issued by indian government and the area of embassy belongs to indian government. Now if I put issued by the uk then when I will print my boarding card it will be written EU country national which will be a pain in the backside to correct at the time of boarding when they will see my indian passport and ask me when did india join the euLucapooka wrote:The question is asking in which country was the passport issued. You can't answer Birmingham as that is not a country. Therefore you must state the name of country in which Birmingham is located. Why is this so difficult for you?
so does this make any difference on your boarding card.Lucapooka wrote: I have a British passport but it was issued in Brazil. When someone knows I am British but asks for the country where my British passport was issued, I state Brazil. If, however, someone does not know my nationality and asks for the country of issue of my passport, I say UK.
