Very Urgent!!!. Need details switching PSW to Tier 2 General

Hi,

I need some information regarding switching PSW visa to Tier 2 General. my employer is willing to sponsor me, currently i am on 21K salary, i fall under SOC code 3131 which requires a salary of 26K yearly, do i need to show 26K for the last 6 months i have been working with my employer, or can i still apply for Tier 2 General with 21K yearly salary.

Any Help would be much appreciated.

You don't need to have been getting that salary for the previous six months. You only need to be getting that salary when you start your T2 sponsorship.

Just to make sure, i can still apply with the payslips for the last six months showing 21K and my employer just need to mention in the COS that they will pay me 26K once i am on Tier 2 General Category.

Could you please tell me what is the validity of Tier 2 General initial application. i heard its 3 years? but not sure. please help.

One more question:

As i mentioned earlier my job category falls under SOC code: 3131 which is at NQF level 4. could i still apply for Tier 2 General in Dec-2012 as i heard from july 2012 all Tier 2 general applicants should be at NQF level 6.
