PEO Cardiff 2/8 - last minute questions!!

Post by necohan » Wed Jul 25, 2012 4:56 pm

Hi all,

Please can anyone provide any guidance/advice on the below. We did email UKBA twice over the last few weeks - 1st email was ignored, 2nd email saying effectively we can't email in ILR queries now!

Application is for ILR for spouse who is completing 2 years on current spouse visa.

1. On the SET(M) application version 07/12, on page 18 Section 7 it refers to previous addresses not specified in 1.12. This doesn't make sense and looks like an error and instead of 1.12 should refer to 2.6 as 1.12 has nothing to do with addresses. At the moment we've left page 18 blank. Any ideas what we should we do?

2. We can't find anywhere on the SET(M) form which refers to holidays/absences - can we assume this isn't relevant? My wife has been out of the country for over 6 months, but this was due to pregnancy/delivery and restricted travel during first and last trimester etc.

3. There is a period of ambiguity where for the same period some documents say Address A and others say Address B. Address A is my parents house and Address B is my new house we purchased and were renovating at the time. I have the Title Register copy for Address A and Address B, as well as a Council tax exemption paper for Address B for the ambiguous period. Could this cause serious grief?

Am going to take paperwork with me from 3 previous applications (partner, spouse applications etc) just in case they need reassurance. Will post back a summary afterwards - reading everyone else's has been incredibly helpful!

Thanks,
Raj
