TIER 2 VISA MINIMUM SALARY

Hi,
Could you please explain me what is the minimum salary requirement to get work permit visa? one of my friend saying minimum 20000£ another friend saying minimum 20700£ per year. Is there any rules has been changed after April 2012. I m totally confused please help me out...!

Salary depends on the job you were assigned by your employer to do. UKBA has an official Code of Practice http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/busin ... fpractice/ where you can find your position and resposibility and the minimum wage required for it.
