Salary Slips for FLR Extension

Post by tehminamazher » Thu Jul 26, 2012 12:21 pm

Hi All,

My husbands salary is transfererd to his bank account,

On the monthly salary slip month end date is written. mode of payment is BACS
But the salary is transferred in the first week of the next month.

Salary Slip Date 31-03-12 Date on statement money Rcvd = 05-04-12
Salary Slip Date 30-04-12 Date on statement money Rcvd = 04-05-12
Salary Slip Date 31-05-12 Date on statement money Rcvd = 04-06-12
Salary Slip Date 30-06-12 Date on statement money Rcvd = 05-07-12

Will it be OK or it will cause any problem.

Hope seniors/ experts wil comment.

Regards

Hi

This is quite common when the payslips are generated in bulk through small accountant firms or one man firm.

As long as the amount in the payslips and in your bank statements match for all the entries, it should be fine. Although it should not cause issues because employers have different policies in regards to paying salaries. You bank statement should also have a flag of BACS payment of if the payment is through BACS.

To be on the safe side, request your Payroll/HR staff to write you a letter explaining the company policy of paying salaries through BACS in the first of new month. This way you are covered.
