Switching from Tier 1 General Dependent to Tier 2 ICT

Hi All,

At present i am on Tier 1 General Dependent and shifting to Tier 2 ICT. I am in UK from September, 2010 and working all the time. Once if change my visa status in future if i go for Permanent residence can i consider Tier 1 General Dependent stay which is 2 years.

OR

Do i have to start everything from scratch? I.e. after changing to Tier 2 ICT.

Please suggest.

If you are aware, there has been recent changes to ICT Tier 2 where you can get ILR.
