Waiting for MN1 but need to travel desperately

Post by mrsn » Sat Jul 28, 2012 2:46 pm

Hi,

My husband and I have got our ILR June 2012. We applied for British citizenship (MN1) for our children via NCS. We have all our original documents now including passports. Our children currently do not have any valid visa.

SOme matter came up in Malaysia and I need to travel in the next week. Can I bring my children with their Malaysian passport (without any visa) and take the risk coming back to UK hoping that they can get 6 months visitors visa at the immigration desk at the airport.

Any suggestions? TO travel or not to travel?

Thanks!

Not highly recommended but possible.

See Leave to enter while MN1 applied for and the link posted there.

Thank you Jumbo. Do you know if it will effect the MN1 application?
