Re stamping post study work visa on my new Pak passport

Re stamping post study work visa on my new Pak passport

Hi,,,
Hope every one will be fine. I have been in the UK for last 9 years now. Currently I am on my post study work visa. MY passport (with Post study work visa on it) Expired in April this year 2012, While My post study work visa expires in Jan 2013. I renewed my passport here in UK in april. But last week I lost my expired passport with PSW and all previous visas on it. and Now I want to restamp my post study work visa on my new passport. What should I do.??? Any body can help me out??? whats the procedure, how to apply for my restamp on my new passport when my earlier passport has lost, which was already expired but it had all my previous visa inluding my current post study work visa stamp on it..??? :(

things you need to do.

1. dont panic, it happens
2. inform police and get the ref numer
3. also inform pak embassy and get the ref number
4. I believe you should have photo copies of your visa and old passport and approval letter of old psw.

make additional copies of all above.

once you done with above

Thanks very much for your kind reply, I got all the scanned copies of my lost passport. Actually this passport has expired in april this year, but it has my resiedent permit on it. I already got my new passport last month from pak embassy. the thing that make me worried is that the lost passort has my resident stamp on it. should I need the reference number from the pak embassy as well, when I have already got a fresh copy of my new passport,
