UKBA and worldbridge, what am I missin?

Hi,

I need an help to understand the steps I have to follow to obtain and EEA Family Permit.

I'm italian and I live with my japanese wife in Italy where she has a resident card. For work reasons I have to move in London from september.

What exactly I have to do?
I know that I have to prepare:
a copy ( or original ) of my passport ( EU Citizen)
a copy of my wife passport
my contract
a letter that will I will show when I enter with my wife in UK sponsoring her.


OK, but where I have to send all this documents? I wanted to try to take an appointment with the WorldBridge Center, but they first want I fill an online form asking for a VISA for my wife... so I guess I'm wrong.

So what should I do?

Sending everything by post? to which address? We will soon move from where we are now, so how can they reply me?

Should I brint everything with me at the border when I land in UK?

I'm really confused about everything...

She could simply travel with you on her Japanese passport.

My wife is japanese and she can stay in UK for 6 months as a turist
We are not asking for a VISA, but for an EEA Family Permit.
What I don't understand is where I should apply for that. Where I have to send the documents required?

She does not need an EEA FP if she can enter with you. Otherwise, if she does wish to apply for one, everything is in the links I have provided but that would require you to actually read them.

Ok, let's say she enters with me the first time, which should be the next step? Asking for a resident card? I would like she could go out and come back whenever she wants. Moreover she would like to work, too

Yes, once in the UK, apply for a residence card. Japanese will have little difficulty traveling with or with out one.

Sorry Lucapooka, I really read everything in these days, but I still have doubts on several things. Let's say I want, in any case, to have a EEA FP and let's say I have all the documents. What they require is also the "biometric information" that I should receive visiting a "application center". The problem is that when I try to take an appointment through the page "https://www.visainfoservices.com/pages/ ... ement.aspx" they say I first have to apply for a VISA, but according to the UKBA website I shouldn't need a VISA. That's why my questions and confusione. What am I missing?
