Regarding previous Tier1 visa approval letter

Post by dj123 » Sun Jul 29, 2012 9:53 am

hello,
I am currently in UK and have an appointment(Tier 1 extension) next week.

I got my First Tier1 visa in 2010 September. I applied from India and got it.
I dont remember that i have got any Tier 1 Visa approval letter along with my passport. I just got the passport with the VIsa stamped on it.

My question: Will there be any approval letter if we apply from INdia(outside UK).
As i dont have any previous Visa approval letter, what would be the alternative that i can provide?

Why do you think you need a visa approval letter?

On many occassions I have seen they don't send approval letters in India. But you don't need it. Since there is only one detail which you could use from it which is the reference number, and that question is optional. So don't worry if you don't have this piece of information. You will be fine.
