Does My Baby need MN1

Hi

I got ILR in Oct 2011 through 2 year spouse visa
My husband got citizenship since 2009 through working permit

now i am in Hong Kong to wait my baby born in Sept 2012

i prepare to help my baby get a HK Passport and get back to UK
(HK passport holder is free to entry UK for 6 months in general)

I think my baby got the UK citizenship through his father immediately after born
I wonder after i back to UK.. should i need to apply MN1 for baby or just apply a child passport UK straight away

Pls advice
