Maintenance and investment funds questions?

Post by ahmedali » Mon Jul 30, 2012 9:52 am

Hi everyone first of all i am really thankful to those people who really share there experiences and tell other how to start there own immigration case.

Since few days i am also visiting this forum to get some information regarding Tier-1 UK Immigration. I found so much information but still there are some things i would like to know if someone could help me out with some authentic information or experience. I am completely full filling the Tier-1 Immigration requirements.

I just have some maintenance and investment funds queries. As i have just planned in last 15 days to apply in this category so there was no plan for this category or what are the requirements in this category. When i read the requirements on UK official website except maintenance and investment funds policy.

My question with all of you guys is that.

1.Can i show the maintenance funds in my wife account cause I did not maintained these funds cause i just planned to apply now or should I put maintenance funds in my own account for 90 days as my wife account has such amount since 90 days period.

2. Can I show investment funds in more than 4 accounts on my own name as i am main applicant cause I cannot show such a big amount in single account I am tax payer and here in my country our government policy is very stupid. If i will show such a big amount in a single account then i could create a very big problem for me. Is it possible to show in more than one account.

You answer would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance

1. If it's a joint account that also names you, yes; otherwise no.
2. Yes.

I am applying from outside the UK. I am main applicant with my spouse and two children. Can i show investment funds in my wife account? or do i need to show it in my own account is it necessary? If I could show the investment funds in my wife account then what kind of document do i need to present or attach with my application to prove that the money is in my wife account is mine and it will use to my business and disposable to UK. Please let me know urgently.

OR

If its necessary to show the investment funds in my own account then can i show these 200,000 pounds in 4 different accounts. Please let me know.

Your replies and suggestion would be appreciated from heart. thanks
The actual capital to be invested can come from any legitimate and verifiable source; it does not need to be in the personal bank account of the applicant. Please refer to the policy guidance on what paperwork is required from the source and the FI that holds that money.
