I would like to become a self employed!?

Hi Everybody

I am a resident in the UK, the prospect for a job with my skills I have is to become a self employed, but I have no clue how to go by doing that


Do I need to apply for a self employment card? I can't seem to find a form or any article pointing me to that

Also part of what I want to do is to import stuff from the EU and no EU countries


Please anything to get me in the right track, a link, an article, advice ... Would be very much appreciated
