ILR application payment taken whats next

i have applied for ILR i think its outside of immigration law since my little one is born here

i sent the app off about 5th of july and they took the money from my account (cheque) 26th july
so now im wondering what happens next ?
do they send a letter for biometrics ( they allready have my fingerprints from spouse app made from another country)

so my ex and i are divorced and im applying to stay for my little brit born to have family ties
how long would it take for the answer due to delays from olympic? how long has it taken for others?
my friend has been waiting for ILR since april and still not got it and she is in uk waiting too
