ILR for a Baby who is born before the parent was granted ILR

Post by sabhi77 » Mon Jul 30, 2012 4:08 pm

Hi,

I have been granted ILR on the basis of 10 years long residency days before my daughter was born. My wife is still my dependent on my prevoius leave to remain(5 years work permit).

I know for the fact, I cannot apply the British passport for my daughter directly. My question is whether I should change my wife's leave from work permit dependent to ILR dependent (FLR(M)) and include my daughter as her dependent in the application? Or can I directly apply my daughter's leave as my dependent (SET(F))?

Many thanks

Sabhi

This is the British citizenship section. Are you asking about BC or just ILR? ILR questions are better answered if asked in the ILR section of the forums.
