Need help with SPOUSE VISA!!

I am sponsoring my wife (who is currently in Pakistan) from the UK on a spouse visa. There's no problem with her application and we have gathered all necessary documents in support of her case. The only problem is that she has a child, 2 years of age, from a previous husband.

She intends to bring the child with her. In this case I need to know:

- How much maintenance do I have to show?
- Are there any additional forms she needs to submit for the child?
- If additional forms are required, then where do i find them?
- As I'm not the parent of that child, does it effect his eligibility to come as HER dependent?

i would be very grateful if someone can enlighten me on this issue asap as I need to submit my wife's application soon.

I dont mean to be rude, but i need simple answers:

Maintenance :I need a figure (£10000, £20000...how much?!)
Additional Forms :If the child will apply as the dependent of main applicant, what form is used? i need the link to that form
Eligibility : he is a dependent of a parent that is being sponsored by her husband....can he go?? Yes or No?[/b]

There are no simple answers as the terms and conditions are complex and flexible.

You need an annual salary of at least 22,400 (or substantial savings).
The mother and child submit separate VAF4 application forms (and annexes) and separate fees.
The child's eligibility depends on various legal factors relating to who is actually responsible for the child. Merely being the child of the woman you have married is not sufficient information.

The mother is responsible for the child...thus he is the dependent of the mother, who IS the applicant...

kindly tell me what annex needs to be filled for the child.
