URGENT first adult passport advice RE countersignature

Post by PrettyPolly » Tue Jul 31, 2012 10:48 am

I'm applying for my first UK adult passport. The only person I knew that could countersign is a Psychotherapist who is originally from the US but has indefinite leave to remain in the UK. He has lived here for over 20 years.
He has given his US passport number on the form, but i'm not sure if they will accept it, since he doesn't have a UK passport. Any advice?

Thanks

Find someone with British/Irish passport.

The form asks for British passport. Why do you think they will accept something else?
