Invitation Letter

Post by deejay » Tue Jul 31, 2012 8:20 pm

Hi,

I have here 2 Questions regarding Invitation Letter.

1. Why UKBA send the Approval and Invitation Letters separately. If they do then how long should a person wait for Invitation Letter after got a Approval and the person to whom should be contact like UKBA or Council.?

2. In what cases they send only one letter for both Approval and Invitation.

Thanks

I am not a mod or guru..but trying to answer.

1. I have no answer to 'why they send seperately?'. Usually people get the invitation letter within a couple of weeks after getting the approval letter. However I read a post from someone who is waiting for the invitation letter since 3months after getting an approval letter.

2. I didn't know that they send only one letter in some cases.

If you apply Via NCS you will receive only the invitation because they don't send your passport for the time of application only they copy your passport so home offfice doesn't have to send you back your passport and approval letter you will only receive your Invitation for a Ceremony.
