My Sponsor's licence (A- rated ) will expire in January 2014.

I am due for my extension in January 2013.

How early my Sponsor can apply for renewal of the licence to enable them to assign me COS?

How long would it take to renew the licence

Your employer will recieve correspondence from UKBA 120 days before there licence expiry asking them to renew their licence. Once they recieve the correspondence they can renew anytime after then.

Currently there is no timelines available for the renewal timelines

Can they issue COS UNTIL 2016 for me , but their licence expires in 2014

they have to renew their licence to continue employing you. if they dont renew there licence, then your leave will be curtailed

they got the licence until 2014, but my visa expires in January 2013.

No they don't have to renew , they can allocate you the cos,
they just have to renew when contacted by ukba
