ESOL Test

Dear All,
I need urgent advice please, I applied FLR (M) for my wife before 09.07.12, at that time she did not pass the ESOL test so I send her application with out that certificate, now she pass the ESOL test and confuse as my solicitor said that wait for Biometric appointment to come then we will post this certificate to HO.
Need advice regarding , should we send that certificate now as visa might not be refused first place.
