Work Permit switched to Tier 2, do both count for ILR?

Post by arikans » Wed Aug 01, 2012 1:50 pm

Greetings,
I've worked for my first employer in UK with a work permit, starting in 2009. Around mid 2010, I've switched to a new job, this time with Tier 2.
When applying for ILR, can I claim 5 years starting from the beginning date of work permit? Or do I have to complete 5 years with Tier 2?

Kind regards
Arikan

Thanks,
I've read the FAQ before posting, but I was not sure if this combination fit the definition of categories eligible for settlement.

Many thanks for your response

Arikan
